Welcome Cohort 12!

On August 16, the MFA in Science and Natural History Filmmaking welcomed its twelfth cohort. The incoming group of eight women and two men comes from nine different states (there are two Californians). They have backgrounds in a range of sciences. Their undergraduate GPAs and GRE scores were among the highest of any cohort previously admitted. They also are the first cohort to participate in the program's expanded orientation program or "boot camp": three-and-a-half days of faculty talks, an alumni roundtable (in person and through Skype), an assessment test, and a production exercise. I hope the SNHF community will join all of us in Bozeman in welcoming this new group of promising filmmakers.
